Interactive Parenting Media Open House, March 2010

Last week we had the opportunity to invite some friends to our studio, honor our outgoing Executive Director, Nurse Rona Renner, and welcome our new ED, Sarah Calderon. Thanks to everyone who was able to join us. We look forward to partnering with friends old and new!

Mayor Ron Dellums of the City of Oakland declared March 11, 2010 to be “Rona Renner Day” in a special proclamation. Rona also received a proclamation of honor from the Office of Congresswoman Barbara Lee. In the photo you can see Rona with the proclamation.

We are extremely grateful to our neighbors at Mick Jones Studio for sharing their space with us that evening, and to Chef Fabian Caterers for providing delicious appetizers. Check back for more photos!


















Raising Children Raising Spirits 2009

On Thursday, November 5, 2009 Childhood Matters and Nuestros Niños celebrated their birthdays with a celebration and fundraiser at the Terrace Room of the Lake Merritt Hotel in Oakland, CA. Thank you for attending and helping us to make it a success.
